The Cooper Sure-Lites Chicago Approved Exit/Emergency Combo (single-sided, model CHXC71) is a code-compliant fixture built specifically to meet the City of Chicago fire code alongside standard UL924 requirements — an important distinction for buildings in Chicago jurisdictions where standard exit signage often doesn’t pass inspection. It pairs a steel-housed, glass-lens exit sign with dual 300-lumen adjustable LED emergency heads, powered by a nickel-cadmium battery rated for 90 minutes of runtime and up to 60 feet of emergency egress coverage. Flexible mounting (end, back, pendant, or conduit) and dual 120/277 VAC input simplify installation across new construction and retrofit projects.
